Si bé és cert que les nostres Cobertes Telescòpiques Unifamiliars, són de moviment manual realment suau (a causa dels rodaments que incorporen les rodes), existeix la possibilitat de motoritzar el moviment per anul·lar definitivament l'esforç humà de tracció. En aquest cas serà necessari implantar sobre el paviment rails (construïts en alumini de duresa especial), que per a piscines de nova construcció podran encastar-se per complet quedant anivellats amb el paviment de la platja, i que per a piscines i cobertes MaperGlas ja existents, podran implantar-se'n superposats al paviment i sense necessitat de cap mena d'obra.

Aquest sistema de motorització aporta una fiabilitat absoluta al moviment de translació de la coberta, sent igualment actiu tant si el paviment de la platja és llis o rugós, tant si el paviment és sec o moll.

Quant a l'alimentació elèctrica del motor, aquests podran connectar-se i desconnectar-se de la xarxa elèctrica convencional quan l'usuari ho desitgi.
