In the communion between Structure and Design of our C.T.U. Telescopic Pool Enclosures we combine the following:
Materials and quality
All the sections used are manufactured with primary aluminium, in 6063 quality and subsequent thermal treatment, providing it with high-level hardness. In keeping with current regulations.
During the assembly of the joints stainless steel parts and screws are used, of a quality suitable to their use.
Accessories
The wheels supporting the weight of the roof and that facilitate the opening and closing movement of the roofing are made of polyamide, and include bearings to obtain maximum mobility with minimum effort. Installed on a stainless steel axis.
The roof self-guiding system during the opening and closing of the same is achieved by means of MAPERGLAS exclusive design driving cogs made of polyamide and with stainless axles and support.
The anchoring of the tilting façade, both in its vertical closed position and in its ventilation position is carried out by means of stainless steel pins on a lacquered aluminium chassis.
The anchoring of all the structure to the floor, both in its closed and in its open position, is carried out by means of easy to use stainless threaded handles. Before threaded sleeves will be inserted in the floor, anchored by means of the injection of special putty with their catalyser. These sleeves are also stainless steel and do not stand out.
Snow and wind
With regards to the WIND, the structure has been designed to withstand a dynamic pressure equivalent to 102 Km/h, in normal position, with all its openings completely closed.
With regards to SNOW, the structure can withstand snow loads that vary depending on the width of the roofing, with a minimum of 40 Kp/m².
In both cases, the user may check with the Technical Department for the load values that the specific roofing can support at its assembly location.
